Welcome to Pemberley Farm. We are glad you have found us and hope you enjoy our journey as we continue our efforts to be as sustainable a farm as possible. Our goal has been and always will be to raise as much of our food as possible and to know where that food came from and what it ate.
We Believe that we are responsible for providing for ourselves and that we do it in a responsible manner. We want the animals that we raise for our food to only have one bad day in their life. And we are thankful for that life.
Just so you know our site is under what you might call reconstruction as we do away with some of the old things and leave some so that you can see what we have done in the past and what we will do in the future plus more. So if you see some areas that are a little rough or are way out of date, we are working on it.
Make sure you check out our EVENTS page for a list of our 2022 Class Schedule. We may add more here and there but for now this is what we have scheduled.
You will also find a list of festivals and events that we will be participating in. This may change from time to time as we find out about new events that we were not aware of. So keep an eye on on that page.
.
This past weekend (July 31, 2021) we did an event in Blountstown Florida at the Panhandle Pioneer settlement. It was a great event except for the fact that it was blistering hot. We met a lot of new friends. Pemberley Farm did a class in cooking on the open fire as well as sold some items made on our farm. The event was called Keepers of the Old Ways Survival Expo. This is their first year and they are deciding whether or not to do it again but I do believe that they may change the time of year because of the Heat LOL. Below are some photographs taken at this event.
On Saturday August 7th Pemberley Farm will be at the Wausau Possum Palace in Wausau Florida. We will be vendors at the Wausau Possum Festival. This Festival has been going on for many years and is a lot of fun come out and get some homemade bread or sweets from our Cottage bakery or maybe some jams and jellies to go on the homemade bread and of course you will need our great bath and body products and maybe even some of our survival items.
We will have flyers and sign-up sheets for our upcoming classes so be sure to come have fun and check us out. See you there!!!
On August 21st we will begin a series of classes on Preparedness. We will begin with All About Food Storage. This will be a class with a lot of information and some hands on learning. We will also do a little taste testing of some of the things we talk about.
There will be three more classes in this series. For anyone who attends three out of the four, your name will be entered into a drawing for a couple of books about storing and preserving food and preparedness in general. We will share the names and give you a look at them at the first class. The drawing will take place on the day of the last class.
Take a look at our Events page for more information about this class and and those to follow.
We have classes scheduled through December and are making plans for the beginning of the year.
We are excited to share with you the many different ways you can live a self ssustainable life, no matter your circumstances.
So join us!!!
All info below is old. These are classes that we have offered before and will offer again but thought we would leave the information up while we are under reconstruction so you can see what we have done and we'll do it again plus more.
please visit our events page to see upcoming classes in 2021
