January 28 and 29 - Open Fire Cooking Class both days. Friday's class is at 11:30, Saturday's class is at 10:15. This class will include the attendees eating the meal that we prepare over the fire . This is a special event at the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement in Blountstown, Florida. Doug and Stacy from Off Grid with Doug and Stacy YouTube channel will be the keynote speakers. There will be many interesting things to see and learn at this event, Keepers of the Old Ways Survival Expo.
February 19 - Mushrooms - Grow Your Own- you will go home with knowledge of how to raise your own mushrooms as well as a log that you have inoculated with shiitake mushroom spore. We will provide the log and the spore for you. Bring a drill and a 5/16 bit if you have it. If you don't no worries we will have both available for you to use. If you're afraid to use the drill we will have someone help you so no problems. If a mushroom log is cared for properly it can last as long as eight years. This is one of our most fun classes. The company that we always order our spore from has also sent us one of their catalogs for everyone to take home so that if you want to get into mushrooms in a larger way, you know where to start.
March 19 - Rabbit Workshop - learn to raise your own wheather for meat or pet. Feeding, breeding and more. You will learn what to do and not do to keep your rabbits healthy and safe. There will be rabbits at the class for you to see as we talk about different aspects of raising them. So there will be some Hands-On in this class. If everyone (the rabbits) cooperates with us there will be young rabbits for sale as well.

April 30 - Herbs Class - learn how to grow both culinary and medicinal herbs and learn how to use them in many different ways. Most herbs are so versatile and can be used in so many ways, and we'll go over many of those in class. We will have many of the herbs we talked about on hand for you to see smell and taste. You will go home with a herb already growing in a pot to get you started on your journey.

September 17 - Medical Preparedness - September is preparedness month and since we have covered a number of preparedness subjects in previous classes, we thought this would be an important one to do this time. We will discuss traditional medical preparedness oh, but we will also discuss what can be done when medicine Runs Out. We are by no means prescribing but just giving thoughts and ideas of what might be done. This should be a very interesting class.
